A Hadoop connection profile defines the information required to connect to an instance of a Hadoop Database on your system. It contains information such as the database server name, user name, and password required to establish the connection, port number, Hadoop vendor, and connection properties.
Access to Cloudera or Hortonworks clusters within a Kerberos realm are supported.
