Set this option in the Connection Options Preferences dialog (Window > Preferences > Teradata Datatools > Connection Options).

Maximum Connections Per Profile sets the maximum number of connections allowed per connection profile. This preference applies to Teradata, Aster, and Hadoop (JDBC-enabled) connection profiles. When you are using the maximum number of connections and you try a new SQL operation, a pop-up window reports that you've reached the maximum number of allowable connections. The default value is 8 connections.
