  1. Do one of the following:
    Option Action
    Creating a connection profile At the Specify a Driver and Connection Details step, click Add next to JDBC Connection Properties.
    Modifying a connection profile
    1. Right-click the connection profile.
    2. Select Teradata JDBC Connection Properties.
    3. Click Add next to JDBC Connection Properties.
  2. At JDBC Properties, select a JDBC property from the drop-down list.
    You can also select QUERY_BAND as a property to specify the query bands for a session.
  3. Select the value for the property from Select Property Value.
  4. [Optional] If the property you select requires a user-defined value, the Enter JDBC Property Value dialog appears.
    1. Enter the JDBC Property Value.
    2. Click OK.
  5. [Optional] To manually enter a JDBC property that is not in the properties list, select USER_ENTERED_PROPERTY from the Select JDBC Property drop-down list and create a new property name value pair.
    1. Enter a new Property Name.
    2. Enter a new Property Value.
    3. Click OK.
  6. Click OK.
    The JDBC property value pair is added to the JDBC Connection Properties.
