Hadoop |
- Select the Hadoop Connection Profile.
- Select the database containing the table you want to export.
- By default, a new table will be created. Clear the Create New Table check box to select individual tables.
- If Create New Table is not checked, select the table you want to export then click Next.
- In the Column Specification dialog:
- Enter the name of a new Hadoop Table, select the File Type from the drop-down menu, and enter a Delimiter.
- Check the boxes for the Vantage table columns to transfer to the Hadoop table.
- View and assign mappings for the table column types.
- Enter a Job Name.

External File (FastExport) |
- Click Browse and specify and Output File.
- Select the File Type.
- [Optional] Select the Column Labels in First Row check box to specify to use the first row of data as the column labels for the new table.
- If you specified the Delimited Text file type, complete the fields in the File Options section.
- Click Next and set up the filtering by data or column.
- [Optional] Click Next to view the SQL generated by the choices you made.

Teradata |
- Select the Teradata Connection Profile.
- Select the database containing the table you want to export.
- Check the Create New Table check box to export the data as a new table. Selecting this option disables the Table list.
- Select the table you want to export then click Next.
- [Optional] By default, the exported data will be copied.
- [Optional] Select the Lock Table check box to lock the table during the export, then click Next.
- Set filtering for the table columns, specify a job name, then click Next.
- View the SQL Summary. Click Back to make any changes.
