Use the Grant Application Users tab to grant privileges to application users (not defined in Vantage) who connect through the selected trusted user and set roles for the user. The trusted user asserts the identity of the application users.
- In the Navigator view, double-click Databases.
- In the Object List Viewer, right-click the user and select Modify Connect Through Privileges.
- Click Grant Application Users.
- Add or modify application user options:
Option Action Trusted Users Select the trusted user who will grant connect through privileges to the selected application users. Application Users Lists the application users being granted Connect Through privileges. User names are entered and separated by commas. Roles Select one or more roles to define an application proxy user. You can select a maximum of 15. Profile [Optional] Select the database profile that sets session attributes. - Click the SQL tab to verify the generated SQL is correct.
- Click Commit.
