Use the Grant Permanent Users tab grant privileges to permanent users (users defined in Vantage) who connect through the selected trusted user and set roles for the permanent users. The trusted user asserts the identity of the permanent users.
  1. In the Navigator view, double-click Databases.
  2. In the Object List Viewer, right-click the user and select Modify Connect Through Privileges.
  3. Add or modify options:
    Option Action
    Trusted Users Select the trusted user who will grant connect through privileges to the selected permanent users.
    Trust Only [Optional] Select the check box to grant connect through privileges with trust-only option.
    Users Root Database Select to display the permanent users associated with the root database in the Users list.
    Users Displays the selected users or the child users of the root database user to receive the connect through privileges.
    Roles Select up to 15 roles for the permanent users.
    No Roles [Optional] Select the check box to grant privileges without roles.
  4. Click the SQL category to verify the generated SQL is correct.
  5. Click Commit.
