When Teradata Director Program is started by the Master Scheduler, TDPISSI is not required and may be removed from the definition of the TDP0 and TDP1 subsystems, and need not be run before Teradata Director Program is started. However, no harm is done by using TDPISSI as usual, so these adjustments are optional.
  • To ensure a Teradata Director Program is started by the Master Scheduler, add the SUB=MSTR keyword to every z/ OS START command for Teradata Director Program.
For example, S TDP0,SUB=MSTR starts TDP0 under the Master Scheduler. Thereafter, operation of Teradata Director Program is unaffected.
