HSISPB exists in multiple load modules.

You can copy HSISPB into LPALIB or LINKLIB, but this may not be desirable if two or more HSISPB items are required to operate different versions of TDP for the following reasons:
  • Problems can occur whenever updates are issued to HSISPB or to the macros used by HSISPB.
  • When HSISPB is used to provide the default TDP name, placement of HSISPB into a common library provides for only one default TDP name. This default TDP name may cause applications to communicate with an incorrect TDP, and thereby send and receive requests to and from an incorrect Teradata server.

As a result, when using multiple versions of HSISPB for multiple versions of TDP, it is better not to copy HSISPB into LPALIB or LINKLIB.
