Issue the following standard z/OS TSO PERMIT command, or the equivalent for non-IBM security products, for each userid to permit such dumps:
PERMIT IEAABD.DMPAKEY CLASS(FACILITY) ID(userid) ACCESS(READ)
Failure to perform such authorization will prevent dumps for any errors within the TDP address space, effectively preventing problem resolution.
- If dumps of address spaces using a Task Control Block system key are being secured, authorize the userids which are assigned to TDP address space(s) to allow dumps. If dumps of address spaces using controlled programs are being secured, and TDP modules are controlled, authorize the userids which are assigned to TDP address space(s) to allow dumps.
