Unity uses Teradata Wallet to ensure all required passwords are stored in a secure location. After you run the commands to set up Teradata Wallet, you do not need to resupply the password each time.

Initialize TD Wallet installation to enter a password:
- Enter the following command on each server: server1:/var/opt # tdwallet suppwd
- Enter the password.
- Re-enter the password.

Set the passphrase:
- Enter the following command on each server: server1:/var/opt # tdwallet chgsavkey
- Enter the passphrase.
