Follow these steps to change the state of a system before and after maintenance.
- From the Unity portlet, select Dashboard.
- Select Components.

Choose a managed system, click
and then select Out of Service.

Perform maintenance tasks.
Monitor the free space in the recovery log to prevent an unrecoverable state.

After the maintenance is complete, click , and then select Restore.
