The following are some limitations to consider while using Disaster Recovery.

  • Retrying Full System Recovery (FSR): Currently, retry is only supported from backend and on retry, user might see a delay on the state status being updated to in-progress. This is because we are checking if each state is successful.
  • Backup of LDAP settings is not supported.
  • Backup of DBS settings is not supported.
  • Restoring Objects with Reserved SQL keywords in Azure: In Azure, you cannot use SQL reserved keywords (such as VARCHAR) in the name of Teradata Database objects.
Cross site restores are currently supported only for Single Node Clique to Single Node Clique or Multi Node Clique to Multi Node Clique for both standard DSA based backups and snapshots.
