- Message
- I/O Capacity on Demand and Hard Limits are disabled on one or more invalid storage device(s) according to the Teradata I/O Scheduler (tdsched).
- Explanation
- The Teradata I/O Scheduler (tdsched) only supports I/O COD and Hard Limits for arrays listed in vconfig that are defined in HwPerfInfo.txt. Only storage devices listed in HwPerfInfo.txt have been profiled for I/O bandwidth; however, not all have been performance tuned for COD (I/O Throttling). Only certain platforms and storage devices have been performance tuned for COD. Each invalid storage device can be identified in /proc/tdmeter/Stats as a row of 1's in the 4th or 5th column.
