This example creates a table whose columns each use a different form of the NUMBER data type.

     CREATE TABLE num_tab (
       n1 NUMBER(*,3),
       n2 NUMBER,
       n3 NUMBER(*),
       n4 NUMBER(5,1),
       n5 NUMBER(9));
