Non-Advanced SQL Engine nodes (channel, ECS, NCS, PE, SAS worker, TMS, TMSS) are allowed in all 9400 cabinet configurations.

1U servers, 2U servers, storage arrays, TMS, and switches can be installed in any 2U (node / DA) location that is indicated in any of the configurations. They must be installed from bottom up in the following order:
  • 2U nodes or arrays
  • 1U nodes
  • TMSs (by feature number, in ascending order)
  • SWS / SAS worker / channel server
  • 1U switches

The 9400 cabinet supports a variety of systems and components, depending on the system configuration.
