Teradata Database now provides ESRI-compatible transforms for geospatial data. They allow the geometric data to include SRID identifiers.
Benefits
Allows Teradata Database to be more easily used with a wider variety of GIS tools.
Considerations
Because the ESRI-compatible transforms are not the Teradata default for importing and exporting geospatial data, using this feature requires that the user or profile be created or modified to specify that geospatial data use these transforms.
