The Extended MultiLoad Protocol has been enhanced to support loading temporal data.

Benefits

Allows the TPT Update Operator, and other client applications that use Extended MultiLoad Protocol, to load temporal data into temporal tables.

Considerations

Extended MultiLoad Protocol runs only in situations where standard MultiLoad protocol is not applicable. For example, Extended MultiLoad protocol is used when the target table has a USI or an RI constraint, or is a temporal table. Existing MultiLoad applications continue to use standard MultiLoad protocol.
