Example 1: Querying POWER(2, 3)

The following query returns the result 8.0.

   SELECT POWER(2, 3);

Example 2: Querying POWER(2, -3)

The following query returns the result 0.125.

   SELECT POWER(2, -3);

Example 3: Querying POWER(2.2, 3)

The following query returns the result 10.648.

   SELECT POWER(2.2, 3);

Example 4: Querying POWER(-2.2, 3.1)

The following query returns an error because the base value is negative and the exponent value is not an integer.

   SELECT POWER(-2.2, 3.1);
