Doing this affects only future data collection. You can map a user to only one department. These are the high-level steps.

  1. In the Performance Data Collection portlet in Viewpoint, run the Info Tables daily job.
  2. Using a query tool such as BTEQ, while logged in as the PDCRAdmin user, update the values in the Department column in the UserInfo table.
    By default, the value is Department Unknown.
