The availability of this feature is currently limited. Contact Teradata for more information.

Federated Authentication on Vantage delivered as-a-service allows for single sign-on (SSO) capability enabling users to log on to supported applications with a single set of user credentials. These applications include Teradata Studio, Viewpoint, Vantage Console, and third-party tools such as COGNOS. If you have a supported identity provider (IdP), submit a change request with Teradata to enable SSO capabilities in Vantage delivered as-a-service. Work with your system security or cloud administrator to set up an IdP in the Vantage Console and test SSO.

By default, single sign-on enablement is a self-service feature. However, if you need help with configuration, the Teradata Center for Enterprise Security team that is part of Teradata Professional Services is available to help for an additional fee.

Federated Authentication on Vantage delivered as-a-service supports the following Federation standards: OpenID Connect and SAML.
