Teradata Vantage as an AWS Managed Application requires an Identity and Access Management (IAM) role in your AWS environment. If you are unsure if an IAM role exists, work with your AWS administrator to set up the necessary IAM role and permissions. For more information, see http://docs.aws.amazon.com/IAM/latest/UserGuide/id_roles.html.

Once the IAM permissions are available, work with Teradata to grant cross-account access to the target objects. Teradata creates the Teradata_ManagedApp_Admin role in your AWS account, which gives Teradata the needed permissions to provision and manage your site.

When your environment is ready, Teradata sends you an email with system and access information.
