Datastores for database storage	Minimum: 1 datastore where all the TPA VMs are deployed on the same datastore. For each TPA VM, all of its virtual disks for the database are created on the same datastore where the VM is deployed.
Datastore formatting	VMFS 5 file system.

RAID	RAID-1 LUNs recommended.

VMware ESXi	ESXi 6.0 and later is required.
VMware	A full VMware vSphere 6.0 license is required. VMware DRS and SIOC are not supported functions. They are performed internal to the database.
VMware vCenter	vCenter 6.0 and later.
VMware vSphere Client	VMware vSphere Client version 6.0 and later, using the Mozilla Firefox Extended Support Release (ESR) Web browser. Other browsers may not work properly with the VMware vSphere Client. Server: 64 bit Windows Server 2012 R2 64 bit Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 Workstation: 64 bit Windows 8.1 64 bit Windows 7 SP1
VMware vSphere vStandard Switch Port Groups	One vSphere standard port group for public (customer) network. One extra vSphere standard port group on a VMware switch for DSC network.
PowerCLI	PowerCLI 6.0 and later. Windows .Net Framework 4.5. Windows PowerShell 4 and later. Requires either a Windows workstation or laptop to run PowerCLI against the vCenter.
