In order to send email notifications, Teradata Data Lab (16.50.xx) requires that version 16.50 of Teradata Alerts be installed, whereas Teradata Data Lab (16.20.xx) requires that version 16.20 of Teradata Alerts be installed and running on the Teradata Viewpoint server. Additionally, the Alert Setup portlet must be used to configure the SMTP delivery settings for e-mail.
Teradata Data Lab email notifications for a Teradata Viewpoint user are sent to the email address set for the user in the Profile portlet or the User Manager portlet.
