Viewpoint is available on a VMware template to run in a virtual environment on third-party hardware. The Viewpoint VMware template hosts the following:
- Viewpoint (Viewpoint rpm) software
- SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) operating system
This information is intended for those experienced in vSphere, vCenter, ESXi terminology, and who have an understanding of the following:
- Standard switches, datastores, VM templates, .ova, .ovf, and other database components.
- Analytics Database configurations, including TPA, CMIC, and Viewpoint.
