You can create a model system and sample rulesets based on a Teradata Database version that is not yet available or installed. These models allow you to preview workload and ruleset options for a new Teradata Database release before you actually install the new version, such as upgrading from SLES 10 to SLES 11. You can work with these model rulesets without a physical system. Rulesets on a model system cannot be made ready or active.
