In a Teradata Database system, the Sessions data collector can define a value to use when a Lower Priority action executes for a session alert.
  1. From the Systems list, click the name of the system you want to update.
  2. From the Setup list, click Data Collectors.
  3. Click the Sessions data collector.
  4. Under New priority for Lower Priority action, enter one of the following values:
    • $L is for low (default)
    • $M is for medium
    • $H is for high
    • $R is for rush
When the Lower Priority action executes for an alert, the session that met the alert rules has its priority changed to the value you enter.
  5. Click Apply.
