To specify the connectivity type when not connected, follow this procedure.

  1. From the menu bar, click Tools > Options.

    The Options dialog box appears, and the Connectivity tab is selected.

  2. Select ODBC or CLIv2.
  3. Click Apply.
  4. Click OK to close the Options dialog box.
