Geospatial types and functions are only available when connected to a Teradata database.
Geospatial methods for the User Defined Types ST_Geometry, ST_Point Methods, ST_LineString Methods, ST_Polygon Methods, ST_GeomCollection Methods, ST_Geosequence Methods, Filtering Methods, MBR and MBB are supported, along with various System Functions. For a description of the supported Geospatial Table functions, refer to Table Functions (Teradata Database).
Three-dimensional functions are only available in Teradata 15.00 or later.
