This operator is only available when connected to an Aster database.
The Octet_Length operator returns the length of the string argument in bytes. When dragging an Octet_Length operator into a variable, the following tree element is created.
Variable Creation > Input > Variables: SQL Elements pane - String Functions > Octet_Length
