The Time Series sub-category contains both new and traditional aggregation functions, but is only present when connected to a Teradata 16.20 or later database. Unlike many of the traditional aggregation functions, these aggregation functions may not be applied to columns of type date when applied to time series tables.
To invoke the time series version of these functions, remember to use the GROUP BY TIME SQL Element provided on the expert options tab, as described in the section Variable Creation - INPUT - Expert Options.
