Calling this function returns the smallest ‘n’ values of a column or expression, with or without ties. When dragging a Bottom element into a variable, the following tree element is created.

Columns and/or other non-aggregate expressions can be moved over the (empty-Value Expression) branch of the tree, while an integer numeric literal can be moved over the (empty-Number of Values) branch of the tree. The option to include ties in selected rows is provided, resulting in the generation of BOTTOM WITH TIES(…, …). This option is enabled through the Properties panel. Double-click on Bottom, or highlight it and click Properties.
