Connect to Vantage using the Teradata WA (TWA) application.
While connecting to Vantage, the TWA application checks whether the required TWA objects exist in the TDWM database or not. If they do not exist, TWA prompts you with the option to create the required macros and stored procedures.
-
Do one of the following:
- Click Yes to create objects for TWA database operations.
- Click No to connect to the database without creating objects.
- There is also an option to setup the TWA objects at any time by clicking .
- The message prompt described above does not appear if the TDWMUpsertQualifiy procedure is present. Apart from the TDWMUpsertQualify macro, TWA uses other macros and procedures. In the absence of any required macro/procedure, TWA may encounter issues while creating and saving workloads. If such a scenario is encountered, do the following:
- Connect to the database and delete the procedure TDWMUpsertQualify.
- Run the TWA application.
- When prompted, click YES to create objects for TWA database operations.
