Table Description
InputTable Contains time intervals to burst.
TimeIntervalTable [Optional] Contains start and end times of burst intervals. This table lets you use different time intervals and partitions the data accordingly.

If you omit this table, you must specify either the TimeInterval or NumPoints syntax element.

InputTable Schema

Each row contains a time interval to burst.

Column Data Type Description
start_time_column INTEGER, BIGINT, SMALLINT, DOUBLE PRECISION, NUMERIC, DATE, TIME, TIME(n), TIMESTAMP Interval start time.
end_time_column INTEGER, BIGINT, SMALLINT, DOUBLE PRECISION,NUMERIC, DATE, TIME, TIME(n), TIMESTAMP, TIMESTAMP(n) Interval end time.
target_column INTEGER, BIGINT, SMALLINT, DOUBLE PRECISION, NUMERIC, CHARACTER, CHARACTER(n), VARCHAR Column to copy to output table.

If SplitCriteria is not 'nosplit', ValueDataType must be DOUBLE PRECISION.

accumulate_column Any [Optional] Column to copy to output table.

Typically, one accumulate_column is a row identifier, such as 'id'.

TimeIntervalTable Schema

Each row contains the start and end times of a burst interval.

Column Data Type Description
id Any Row identifier.

If InputTable row i is to be burst into n intervals, TimeIntervalTable has n rows with id value i.

burst_start_time INTEGER, BIGINT, SMALLINT, DOUBLE PRECISION, NUMERIC, DATE, TIME, TIME(n), TIMESTAMP, TIMESTAMP(n) Interval start time.
burst_end_time INTEGER, BIGINT, SMALLINT, DOUBLE PRECISION, NUMERIC, DATE, TIME, TIME(n), TIMESTAMP Interval end time.
