The Dump Memory command is used when a node, VM node, CMIC, VM CMIC, or VMS is unresponsive. Select this command only when instructed to do so by Teradata technical support personnel. If you perform a memory dump on the VMS, all of the associated VMs power cycle after the memory dump is complete.
This operation does not perform a graceful shutdown.
  1. From the Tree View, select the unresponsive component.
  2. Select Functions > Dump Memory.
