VantageCore VMware supports standard, distributed and VMware NSX switches with port groups (vLANs) for BYNET, DSC, CMIC (Server Management), and CLAN (customer or public LAN). BYNET and DSC virtual switches require jumbo frames (MTU 9000) by default.

Vantage systems perform best with dedicated physical resources. Planning for customer workloads is critical, and appropriate resources should be in place for best performance.

A minimum of 10 Gb network speed is required. However, 25Gb and higher is recommended. System workload performance may improve with higher speeds.

All virtual nodes require static IP addresses.
