The ESXi host used to deploy VantageCore VMware Quick Start must be supported by VMware and meet the minimum requirements to deploy one or two TPA virtual machines and Server Management, Viewpoint, and DSC. The following table specifies processing vCPUs (virtual cores), memory, networking, and storage requirements for each component deployed on the ESXi host.
Datastore Size Example
A single datastore must be large enough to accommodate all of the VMs (image size plus the database size).
Example:
1 x TPA=200GB + (1.3 times memory if larger than 100GB) + CMIC=26GB + VP=443GB + DSC=500GB + DatabaseUserDataStorage=2000GB(2TB) for a total of 3169GB or 3.2TB with TPA memory 100GB or less.
Deployer Requirements
A storage location is required to land the DSC backups of the Analytics Database.
