System validation is performed prior to shipping to make sure that the system is operational and to verify it is working as expected.
Networking is verified from each node across all nodes to confirm configuration is correct.
The system verification is limited to the following components:
- Cloned nodes
- Storage sizes
- vCPUs
- Memory
- Reservations
- Pdisks and storage on the same datastore or SCSi device, network configuration, and basic working order.
Verification is limited to basic functionality such as:
- Connecting to the OS
- Pinging all nodes
- Databases stage verification
- CMIC
- Viewpoint
