Each ESXi node in the Teradata clique has VantageCore VMware instances allocated for use by Analytics Database. Each Analytics Database VM is automatically configured during deployment that includes adding network adapters. For more information, see Networking for Analytics Database Configuration.

Important: Only the Analytics Database VMs can run on the ESXi hosts in a clique.
