- Power, thermal, weight, and acoustic constraints within the racks that accommodate the hardware
- Cabling and distance between racks of the same system, and in between the system racks and other critical or dependent elements of your data center
- Each clique resides in its own fault domain for maximum fallback protection Teradata does not recommend straddling a clique across multiple fault domains.
