The CMIC is deployed in the same way as the current VantageCore VMware. You can enable remote access through ServiceConnect.
Teradata requires that all systems are connected to Teradata ServiceConnect to enable phone/home incident reporting and Telemetry collection.
Additionally, Teradata requires the use of Dell's Secure Connect Gateway (SCG) which aggregates communications across Dell devices and acts as a single point of entry and exit in a customer's firewall for all IP-based remote services activity. Via SCG customers obtain unique integration of smarter AI, automated support and real-time analytics to work for them.
