Now that you have your database populated, you can create a database connection so Vantage Analyst can access the sample data on your database.
- Select
> Configuration > Connections. - Select Create New.
- On the Connection details page, select Database as the Connection type, then enter:
Connection name Teradata-Vantage Description Database used for the Vantage Analyst tutorial - On the Connection type page, select Database then enter the Server name and Default database that you recorded earlier.
- On the Authentication page, enter the Analytical user name and Password that you recorded earlier.
- Click Save Connection.
Vantage Analyst creates the database connection, and displays it on the Connections page:
