  1. Delete one or more unneeded HSNs. 
    # tdc-hot-standby delete n
    where n is the number of HSNs you want to delete.
    You will receive an error if there are no HSNs to delete or if you attempt to delete more HSNs than are currently available on your system.
  2. Verify the deletion was successful by using: tdc-hot-standby status ---exact cmd or checking the node count in the file in hsncount file in /etc/op/teradata/tdconfig.
