The quantity of Vantage licenses is expressed in TCores, a value based on the vCPU count and throughput of each supported VM size. Scaling out (adding nodes) increases the required TCores. The quantity of TCores affects the performance capabilities of the system. More TCores allow you to deploy more virtual CPUs.
TCores can be activated, revoked, and redeployed on public cloud platforms that offer Vantage. TCores are also portable between public cloud platforms.
