The tar_teradata_client_packages script provided on the installation media runs on UNIX and Linux using the Korn shell /bin/ksh for the following platforms:

- Linux on z Systems
- OEL (Oracle Enterprise Linux)
- Oracle Solaris
- Red Hat Linux
- SLES (SUSE Linux Enterprise Server)
- Ubuntu Linux
