A site ID is a unique code to identify your installation of Teradata Aster Analytics on Azure. Although this site ID is not required to use Teradata Aster Analytics on Azure, it is required to receive Teradata support.
When you subscribe to Teradata Aster Analytics on Azure, you receive a welcome email that enables you to register for support. After your support registration is complete, you receive another email with your Master Customer Record, Site ID, user ID, and password. Your Site ID begins with AZRAST, followed by 5 to 9 alphanumeric characters.
Existing Teradata customers who have on-premises Teradata systems cannot use their previous site IDs for Teradata Aster Analytics on Azure. You must obtain a new site ID.
