Use the Abort Job command to terminate any job with an Executing status. For example, abort a job because the job is tying up Teradata Database resources.

  1. From from the Scheduled Requests list of the Teradata Query Scheduler Administrator, select a job with an Executing status.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Click Options > Abort Job.

    • Right-click the job to display a shortcut menu and click Abort Job.

    A Teradata Query Scheduler dialog box appears asking for confirmation.

  3. Click Yes to confirm the deletion and close the dialog box.
