Before upgrading Teradata components deployed in a virtual or public cloud environment, you must complete this procedure and redeploy the system if you are doing either a major or minor upgrade.
Since the operating system bundle includes both important security updates and the latest version of PUT, you must separately upgrade the operating system whenever upgrading other Teradata components deployed in a virtual or public cloud environment, with the exception of Server Management.
- Log in to https://access.teradata.com. If you have multiple Teradata customer portal accounts, log in to the account associated with your Azure deployment.
- Download the latest bundles for your operating system, if applicable, and each additional component to be upgraded. For instructions, search for KAP1A730A.
