Entering TDP Commands From z/OS/TSO or VOS3/TSS

TDP accepts commands from the console or any user that has the authorization to execute the commands. The TDP commands can be executed in the TSO foreground or background by:

  • Using a TSO CALL command to call the DBCCMD user interface
  • Using the DBCCMD CLIST that is supplied on the release tape
  • Invoking the DBCCMD program from within batch jobs
  • The standard application‑to‑TDP interface routine supports routing a command from the MVS/TSO or VOS3/TSS address space to the requested TDP subsystem.
