This feature is normally used separately from Ensure backup is first on the media. However, if these two procedures are used together, the result is a tape that contains only the one image.
Use the SUSPEND feature in NetBackup media management. Suspending a tape will not allow any further images to be placed on that tape. The SUSPEND feature is available in the Media section of the NetBackup Console and also as an option of the bpmedia utility.
