Purpose

The command registers the given HDP version in Ambari.

Syntax

hcli upgrade register_hdp hdp-tarball.tar.gz

where

hdp-tarball.tar.gz is the installation file

Exit code is 0 if the HDP stack registration completed successfully; exit code is 1 if the HDP stack registration failed.
